{"id":264,"date":"2024-05-28T15:09:01","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T15:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scancor.de\/r\/?p=264"},"modified":"2025-02-26T06:20:19","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T06:20:19","slug":"salicornia-scancorder-in-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scancor.de\/r\/applications\/salicornia-scancorder-in-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Salicornia ScanCorder in Action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We developed together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/saltlab.kaust.edu.sa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Salt Lab<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaust.edu.sa\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology)<\/a> a multispectral handheld sensor based on the Compolytics\u00ae ScanCorder platform to quantitatively measure various quality traits of Salicornia seeds. After about 9 months of development, including several <a href=\"https:\/\/scancor.de\/r\/applications\/systematic-assessment-of-salicornia-seeds\/\">measurement campaigns<\/a> and machine learning-based modelling utilising our proprietary modelling platform, the first set of two devices was delivered in May 2024.
